If you truly want to enjoy yourself in the all-year round party atmosphere of Brazil, here are few festivals & events to check out:

Reveillon:
There’s simply no better way to enjoy the New Year than joining 2 million people on the popular Copacabana Beach for Reveillon (New Years Eve). Fireworks lighten up the sky as the clock ticks 12 . Before midnight, the carnival is more of a family involvement as children, parents and grand parents enjoy appetizing street snacks & sip energizing beverages together. But the real party starts as soon as the 12th bell has rung out.

Rio Carnival:
This is probably the biggest one. Renowned all over the globe as one of the finest events in existence, Carnival will leave tourists speechless, breathless and tired as they dance &  party until the sun appears again. Samba music is playing in live bands during the day and night. This is undoubtedly the most vibrant carnival in the globe and one that everybody should participate at least once in their life.

Cirio de Nazare:
Takes place on the Amazon River, this carnival revolves around a sculpture of  Nossa Senhora de Nazaré. It’s said that the sculpture has performed wonders and every year, during the 2nd week of October, the sculpture is carried along the water from Belem to Icoaracj and back again by a parade of vessel. As one of the largest spiritual gathering of the world, it’s no wonder that there’s a wide range of cultures found here, merged by the sound of religious songs and the view of fireworks.

Taking place more than 2 days, the imposing line-up has witnessed all sorts of big names in the past, encompassing Skrillex, the Diamonds, Alt-J and Marina. The carnival generally witnesses somewhere about 150,000 dancing and screaming fans each year. The surrounding is always stimulating, making Lollapalooza a must for music aficionados from all walks of life.
